Sinopec, BP and SK jointly invested 7billion natural gas chemical project

On February 22, 2012, the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding for the 1,4-butanediol acetic acid integration project was held in Chongqing by China Petrochemical Corporation Sichuan Vinylon plant (Sinopec SVW), South Korea SK Integrated Chemical Co., Ltd. (SK integrated chemical) and British BP chemical Investment Co., Ltd. (BP chemical)

1,4-butanediol, acetic acid integration project is composed of 200000 t/a BDO project, 600000 T/a acetic acid project and related supporting projects, with today's world-class technical level and economic scale, of which 200000 t/a BDO project is jointly invested and constructed by SK integrated chemistry and Sinopec SVW, and 600000 T/A vinegar experimental material is GH2132 alloy acid project, which is constructed by BP chemical Yangtze River acetyl Chemical Co., Ltd., funded by Sinopec SVW and Chongqing energy investment group, is expanding on the basis of existing production capacity

Sinopec said that the integrated project is planned to be located in Chongqing Changshou economic and Technological Development Zone. The annual new natural gas consumption of the project is about 440million cubic meters, with a total investment of about 7billion yuan. After completion and operation, the total profits and taxes can be realized about 2billion yuan. The project is planned to be completed by stages from the end of 2014 to the beginning of 2015. The integrated project fully relies on the supporting utilities and storage and transportation facilities of Sinopec SVW and Chongqing Changshou economic and Technological Development Zone, and utilizes the core technology of Sinopec SVW for acetylene production from natural gas, the BDO technology operation experience of SK group and the latest cativa? Acetic acid production technology, build a world-class BDO and acetic acid production equipment, and the price of the whole set is also relatively expensive
